Meet Semeca McLawyer

We are honored to recognize Semeca McLawyer as a 2026 HER Award Honoree during the Becoming One Whole Woman Experience: YOU ARE THAT GIRL Women’s Conference 2026.
Semeca is an entrepreneur, published author, youth mentor, and dedicated community leader who leads with faith and purpose.
She is the proud owner of Plushh Boutique, a women’s fashion boutique that has served the community for six years by providing stylish and affordable clothing for women in sizes Small through 3XL.
Her impact extends far beyond fashion. Semeca is the author of From Rookie to Retail: A Step-by-Step Beginner’s Boutique Guide and Color Me Plushh. She is also the founder of Teen Talk, a mentorship program created to empower girls ages 10–15 through educational workshops, interactive activities, outings, and honest conversations.
Through fashion, authorship, mentorship, and community service, Semeca continues to use her gifts to inspire women, pour into the next generation, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
On October 31, 2026, we have the honor of celebrating HER.
